Katy Perry Perform In UK: American singer Katy Perry says she will apply to become a citizen of the UK as soon as she weds Russell Brand. “When I get married next month, one of the first things I’ll do is apply for dual citizenship,” the Sun quoted her as saying. “I’m not too sure if I have to take a test as I’ve not had time to look into it. But England is like my second home,” she added. Katy, who is in the UK promoting her second album ‘Teenage Dream’, tried to stay mum about her fiancé.

Yay!'The quirky star seemed excited ahead of her big performance: 'Gnight humidifier, Gnight Chanel sleeping eye mask, gnight new glittery costume, gnight new rainbow colored hair, gnight people camping out!' Earlier in the day, Katy was spotted leaving rehearsals at a studio in the city, taking advantage of the warm weather in a cute red printed sundress.

Katy Perry In MTV Awards Perform At Malaysia (Video): Katy Perry is no stranger to preening like a "Peacock," but her stage outfit this weekend surprised even herself. "Tonight I look like a russian ballerina with madonna's hair... on crack. Perfect!" Perry tweeted before hitting the stage at Saturday night's Malaysian MTV awards. Perry donned a skintight white sequined leotard and a frilly tutu for her performance in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The 25-year-old's hair was tied back in a tight high ponytail secured with a braid, a 'do highly reminiscent of Madonna's look on her 1990 Blond Ambition tour. But even Perry's daring duds and classic coif were overshadowed by her dessert-themed set, which included giant cupcakes, lollipops and a massive banana split.

"I want to make a wonderful, weird entrance, and I wanted to be the cherry on top of a giant banana split," Perry told MTV Asia before the show. "With 'One of the Boys,' it was more fruit themed, and with 'Teenage Dream,' it's more candy-themed, so it's sort of infusing both the ideas together.
