She’s always had a taste for creative style, and Katy Perry recently revealed what was behind her decision for her latest blue 'do. Opening up to WWD about her new look, the “Firework” singer revealed that she wanted to channel Vogue’s Anna Wintour and Kate Winslet’s blue hair in “Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.”

"I was trying to find a happy medium between crazy and mature," the star, who’s going through a divorce from Russell Brand, added. The blue-haired beauty also admitted that she's going for a more natural look these days. "I’m in a really healthy place. I'm working out and on a wonderful meal plan, and I'm taking my vitamins every day. It is showing up on my physique and face. With all those bonuses, I feel I don't have to wear as much makeup. I'm still doing fun things with my hair.”

Rumors have been swirling for weeks as to who will replace the ousted Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger on "The X Factor." Simon Cowell acknowledged on Wednesday (Feb. 22) that he will be looking for two females to replace the two. But who?

The show is looking to up the name recognition on the judges' table to compete with the formidable lineup that "The Voice" and "American Idol" offer. And if Cowell is true to his past, he's going to go big rather than go home.

Cowell himself admitted there's potential interest in Katy Perry calling her "feisty." He also acknowledged in an interview with "Extra" that he'd like Madonna, although he says she'd probably be "expensive." There have also been hints that Britney Spears, Janet Jackson, Fergie, Beyonce and, now, LeAnn Rimes are all jockeying for the position. But let's pretend we're in control of "The X Factor." Katy Perry rocks a head-to-toe blue look while making an appearance at The Americana at Brand on Wednesday (February 22) in Glendale, Calif. The 27-year-old pop star also drove up to the outdoor mall in a light blue convertible, where she greeted fans and promoted her line of fake eyelashes she created in association with Eylure.

“Today has been a BEAUTIFUL day! U debuted ‘Part Of Me’ at #1 & now I can’t wait to bat my LASHES & thank u in person @ the Americana at 4pm!” Katy tweeted earlier in the day. FYI: Katy is wearing a Roland Mouret dress with Giuseppe Zanotti heels. She accessorized with a Solange Azagury-Partridge ring, vintage bangles, and her own diamond studs.

Katy Perry is alone again, after a year of marriage to Russell Brand. Rihanna is showing signs of picking back up a relationship with Chris Brown that most of her friends and fans advise against. Pippa Middleton has broken, apparently permanently, from a man who just can't handle her fame. Or did he break from her? Anyway, Katy Perry or any of these celeb women might be just the one, speculates the Daily Beast, to make Jeremy Lin—hotshot Harvard-grad NBA New York Knicks basketball player—a happy man. Ok, they should be perfect for one hot date, at least.

Jeremy Lin has already said he is not looking for a groupie. Actually, he specified the number one sport groupie as someone who is not his "type." Perhaps he's looking for someone taller. That might just be Katy Perry, who would be glad to wear the team colors in her hair. A few highlights of orange in the Grammy-blue-do she wore earlier this month would look totally committed at courtside. Or would that scare Jeremy Lin away?

If not Katy Perry, then Pippa Middleton might make a fabulous date. Pippa is a real athlete. She loves to hang out at soccer and polo matches and at Wimbledon. She and Jeremy could hike and ski and run marathon races together. Her location in London is a problem, but they could work something out.

Rihanna needs a good man, and they are still, unfortunately, hard to find. But Jeremy Lin seems to qualify. It would be hard to picture Jeremy Lin on probation for beating a woman. He doesn't even get that many fouls. But does Jeremy Lin need Rihanna? Or Katy Perry? Or even Pippa Middleton? Their publicity troubles might take his mind off his own. Or there's always Taylor Swift. She knows how to handle fame, and she's just one year younger. The two of them might actually hit it off.

BFFs Katy Perry and Rihanna have been seen all over the place with each other lately, most recently a couple weeks ago at the Grammy Awards. As Rih Rih’s twitter feed continues to blow up with birthday well wishes we took notice of one that made us say, “Whoa dere!”.

Friends is one thing, but did Katy go too far callin’ Rih-Rih a “hoodrat”. She might as well go ‘head and call her a get her Don Imus on and call her a “nappy-headed ho”…SMH Bet she wouldn’t call any of her white friends a hoodrat…we’re just sayin’…

Katy Perry is donating proceeds from her new single to charity. The 27-year-old singer will give the profits from download sales of her current track 'Part of Me' to the MusiCares organisation, which provides financial, medical and personal assistance to musicians in need.

She tweeted: "My proceeds of #PARTOFME from ITUNES & others will go to one of my favorite charities for the arts, MUSICARES; (sic)" The move comes after Katy also offered a signed guitar for auction in aid the GRAMMY Charities, MuisCares and the Grammy Foundation.

Bidding on the instrument currently stands at $1,500 and closes tomorrow (16.02.12). Other lots on offer at the auction, which can be found at ebay.com/GRAMMY include VIP lounge tickets to the Coachella and Stagecoach music festivals; guitars autographed by Jeff Beck, Coldplay,Tom Petty, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Slash, and signed memorabilia from Adele, Jay-Z, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Dolly Parton and Usher.

The highest bid currently stands at $6,700 for a Ukelele signed by Pearl Jam frontman Eddie Vedder and a copy of his solo album 'Ukelele Songs'. The lots have varying closing dates, but the final bids auctions close on February 23.

Next week's Billboard Digital Songs and Hot 100 charts will be brimming with massive debuts, surging sales and some intriguing newcomers. A host of songs -- new and old -- will be vying for a position within both charts' top 10s.

Katy Perry's new "Part of Me," which was released digitally to retailers on Monday, Feb. 13, is heading for a debut sales week of around 400,000 to 420,000 downloads by week's end on Sunday, Feb. 19 -- so say industry prognosticators. That would mark the pop diva's best debut sales frame and the highest opening week for any act since Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" sold 448,000 on the chart dated Feb. 26, 2011, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
 
Perry premiered "Part of Me" in a performance on the Feb. 12 Grammy Awards ceremony -- much like how Gaga launched "Born This Way" a year ago on the Feb. 13 Grammys (two days after the single hit digital retailers). So effectively, Perry's "Part of Me" will sell around the same amount in seven days as Gaga did in three.

Adele, who was the queen of this year's Grammy Awards -- taking home six trophies -- should also find herself with multiple singles near the top of the Digital Songs tally.
 
"Rolling in the Deep," which she performed on the show and earned both record and song of the year awards, could sell over 250,000 downloads. Meanwhile, her most recent single, "Set Fire to the Rain," may move around 220,000 while "Someone Like You" could sell 170,000.
 
The late Whitney Houston will likely be among next week's top 10 selling songs for a second week, as "I Will Always Love You" could sell in the range of 250,000 to 300,000.
 
fun.'s "We Are Young" (featuring Janelle Monae) is still reeling from its positioning in Chevy's Sonic TV commercial, and is aiming for a 250,000 sales week.
 
Nicki Minaj's new "Starships" is on course to sell perhaps 150,000, while Chris Brown's also just-released "Turn Up the Music" is heading for a start near 150,000 to 170,000 as well. Another new single, from British vocal group One Direction, "What Makes You Beautiful," may debut with 120,000 or so.
 
The top 10 of the Digital Songs chart will be revealed on Wednesday, Feb. 22.

Katy Perry, Taylor Swift and Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe are among the top nominees for the 2012 Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards. The boy wizard franchise's eighth and final film, Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows: Part 2, will compete against The Smurfs, The Muppets and Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked for Favorite Movie, while Radcliffe will face off against Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides), Jim Carrey (Mr. Popper's Penguins) and Adam Sandler (Jack & Jill).

Radcliffe's Potter co-star Emma Watson is shortlisted for Favorite Movie Actress alongside Kristen Stewart (The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1), Amy Adams (The Muppets) and Sofia Vergara (The Smurfs), while Depp (Rango) and Perry (The Smurfs) have earned nods for Favorite Voice from an Animated Movie.
Perry is also a force to be reckoned with in the music categories - she'll battle for Favorite Female Singer against Swift, Lady Gaga and Selena Gomez, and her hit single Firework will go up against Gaga's Born This Way, Swift's Sparks Fly and Party Rock Anthem by Lmfao.

Justin Bieber, Bruno Mars, Usher and country star Toby Keith are all nominated for Favorite Male Singer.
Gomez and Miranda Cosgrove have landed nods for Favorite TV Actress and Favorite TV Show for Wizards of Waverly Place and iCarly, respectively, while comedian Tim Allen and Modern Family's Ty Burrell are in the running for Favorite TV Actor. American Idol and America's Got Talent are nominated for Favorite Reality Show. Will Smith will present the 25th annual Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards, which will take place in Los Angeles on 31 March (12).

The singer used a load of lollies and cakes to decorate her barnet and neck for the updated cover of Teenage Dreams: The Complete Confection. It's no wonder she's trying to shift a few more copies of the album – she's been looking into buying a new sports car.

But it seems she's really missing the point about owning a bright white convertible. Katy looked unimpressed and tried to cover her face when she was snapped test-driving the Maserati in Los Angeles yesterday. Katy Perry has certainly been dealing with her own share of drama, what with her relatively recent divorce announcement. Perhaps it was some of that gloomy breakup mindset that inspired her fashion and beauty look for the 54th annual Grammy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night. She was definitely feeling the blues, but in the best way possible. The result? One very haute look. No tears here, only the "Last Friday Night" singer's signature trendsetting and always delightfully unexpected approach to style.

When Perry hit the red carpet before heading into the Staples Center for the show, she turned heads with her sparkling Elie Saab gown that was an enchanting and unusual shade of sky blue. While the dress was beautiful and her Norman Silverman diamond jewels stunning, all $2 million of them as Just Jared reports, her beauty choices were the real statement makers.

Perry, forever indulging in a spectrum of hair colors, has moved past her pretty-in-pink phase and has left her blonde ambition behind--at least for now. She's currently all about indigo dreams. She piled her cerulean tresses in a sophisticated and modern bouffant-style updo for the Grammy Awards, where the 27-year-old star was nominated for Record Of The Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, both for her song "Firework."

However, with all the blue, Perry smartly kept her makeup simple. No navy lipstick this time! Instead, she created impact with slightly winged black eyeliner and strong lashes paired with a bubblegum pink lip, a color that provided a pretty contrast to the blue. The Grammys weren't the first time Katy Perry has coordinated her outfit with her hair, though. Last fall, during her pink period, she also worked the shade from head to toe when she attended a performance of Ghost: The Musical.
