Katy Perry looking for association therapy as marriage to Russell Brand hits inconvenience: Katy Perry and Russell Brand are reportedly looking for a marriage counsellor after experiencing troubles, just three months into their marriage. The superstar couple are spending an increasing amount of time apart, which has reportedly lead the I Kissed A Girl singer to ask friends to recommend someone to conduct their relationship therapy.

The Daily Mail reports that it is thought the couple first began experiencing problems shortly after comedian Brand tweeted an unflattering picture of his wife when she was make-up free. Although Brand was the inspiration for the lyrics 'You think I'm pretty without any makeup on,' in her hit song Teenage Dream, it was just after this incident last month, that Katy realised their relationship might benefit from some professional help.
The couple enjoyed a whirlwind romance during 2009 and became engaged after just four months of dating. Ten months later they married in a lavish celebration in India which last for six days.
However, the high profile pair are set to spend a lot of time apart over the next few months because Katy is about to embark on her California Dreams tour, which begins on February 20 and ends in November. Meanwhile, Brand is committed to filming the movie Arthur in New York.
Katy recently revealed that she had designed her tour dates so for every two nights she performs she gets one day off to see Russell. "I think some people will die on the stage and I'm not so sure I want to do that," she was cited as saying in an interview with Elle magazine.
