Katy Perry is featured on the cover of InStyle Magazine and has said that she is not planning to have kids with her husband Russell Brand... at least, not anytime in the near future. Perry implied that for most married couples kids eventually enter the equation, but she's not ready to go there just yet and thinks it will be a while down the married road before adding kids to her family.

When asked about having children, Katy Perry said, "Not yet. I think if you're married, it's often in your future."InStyle still wanted to know how Perry would raise her future children, to which Katy replied: "I think in the future—the very far future—when I have children, I'll have a more open approach, setting boundaries and showing them what their decisions and choices will breed."
From her answers, it sure doesn't sound like Katy Perry and Russell Brand will become parents anytime soon. While she may, or may not, have ideas on how she would want to raise her kids, it is one thing to think about it raising kids, and yet another entirely to actually raise them, so, at this point, asking Katy Perry how she'd raise children seems irrelevant. Perhaps the questions, for now, should revolve around how Katy balances her career and her marriage and not delve too far into the future.
