Katy Perry is expanding her fragrance line. The "Teenage Dream" singer will launch a new fragrance this fall to accompany her debut fragrance Purr. The 26-year-old developed the new scent with Gigantic Parfums during her California Dreams Tour, but has not released the name of the new fragrance. She has made it her fans' job to guess via Twitter. Starting next week, the fan who guesses the fragrance will win, not only the perfume, but a chance to meet Perry.
"The winners will then be selected at random to receive various prizes, including bottles of perfume, and the potential to meet Perry at a launch event in December," WWD reports.
Perry's first fragrance, Purr, was released late last year and was a success, currently available in 54 countries. She said for her perfume she wanted to make sure people knew that was a Katy Perry fragrance.
"It's like the Goldilocks of perfume. It's not too much, it's not too forgettable, it's just right," she has said of Purr. "It's basically me in a bottle. I think a lot of people go up and they go, 'That's definitely Katy Perry. This is definitely Katy Perry's perfume.'"
