Though she wasn't at the Golden Globes herself last night, Katy saw pictures of the queen of pop in a stunning emerald green frock at the bash, held at the Beverly Hills Hotel, and the sight was clearly too much for her to handle. Sitting at home as she took to live tweeting the event, Katy let her feelings towards the Material Girl singer known as she tweeted: 'Madge looks goooooood. I'd tap that. #goldenglobes.'
This won't come as a surprise to Perry fans as she first made waves on the music scene with her chart-topping hit I Kissed A Girl so suffering a little girl crush is bound to happen. But while Katy, who recently announced her split from British comedian Russell Brand, may have appeared to be speaking out of turn, perhaps she might find herself in luck.

Taking a swipe at show host Ricky Gervais, who had welcomed her onto the stage by sarcastically describing her as 'like a virgin', Madonna hit back by saying: 'If I'm still like a virgin, Ricky, then why don't you come over here and do something about it? I haven't kissed a girl in a few years ... on TV.' We're not sure how Russell would feel about his ex hooking up with Madge…
