It looks as if the singer was very much impressed by the helping hand offered by the Hollywood comedian so that she can get a knowhow of the acting skills before she makes her ‘breakthrough’ in Hollywood. He has ostensibly also spoken to director and producer Judd Apatow and even managed to provide Perry with a chance to audition for the forthcoming project of Apatow.
"Katy really wants to break into acting and Russell has offered to help,” News of the World quoted a source as saying. "He thinks he can coach her into the film world," the source added
