MTV has announced that Katy Perry will perform at the 19th annual MTV Movie Awards, set to air live on Sunday, June 6 at 9 PM Eastern Time. The singer will join a star-studded lineup at the show that includes host Aziz Ansari and presenters Adam Sandler, Chris Rock, Kevin James, Rob Schneider and David Spade.

"I'm proud to represent the West Coast at the MTV Movie Awards in the magical glow of the Hollywood sign with my  new single 'California Gurls,'" Perry said in a statement.
